I am just a high school student who loves to read books, listen to music, and admires the art of cinema. But for me, books come first.
I have dreams of becoming a movie director and also writing my own books in the future. I also want to teach the knowledge I have learned to future generations and do things for the benefit of humanity. I would like more than anything to see books, which are now seen as just a few pieces of paper due to the rapid development of technology, regain their former importance.
My love and interest in reading books started when I was so young and learned that Ataturk, who has an important place in Turkish history, read a lot of books. The more I read, the more I wanted to write. I had a notebook where I wrote my own stories. Of course, since I was little, most of them were fantasy and fairy tales. And when I’m bored, I still translate the old stories I wrote in my own language into English in a more proper way.
But why English? Although I have been interested in the literature of many countries since I learned to read, English literature makes me feel different. Maybe because I learned English by myself. I had a hard time learning but I think some people tend to like things that are hard at first…
Now I’m trying to improve my French and German. I write amateur scripts and short stories in English.
